She was born in Fountain, on December 2, 1924, a daughter of the late Dewey F and Helen (Updegrave) Oswald. She retired as a housekeeper at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center . She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Tremont. Her husband Harry F Shutt died May 16, 1980 . She is survived by a daughter Kathy P wife of Larry Bixler, Tremont; a son David Morgan, Pine Grove; two granddaughters Brenda L Koppenhaver, Tremont, Pa and Tara Morgan, Pine Grove, Pa; a grandson Kevin M Bixler, Tremont; 4 great grandchildren; a brother Norman Oswald, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and a sister Bernice M Koppenhaver, Greencastle. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 24th, .
