Fae L. Koppenhaver, age 76, of 52 Koppys Lane, Hegins, died Tuesday at her residence. Born in Ashland on August 4, 1930 a daughter of the late Elmer and Ulla Hornberger Trathen. Fae was a retired registered nurse from AMP, Inc. She was a graduate of the former Ashland High School, and the former Ashland State Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. A former member of the the Valley View Fire Company and also active with the firemans relief. She was pre-deceased by her husband Forrest E. in 2001, a sister Shirley and a brother Elmer Trathen Jr. Survivng are two sons, F. Wayne "Butch" and his wife Karen, and Keith A. and his wife Joan both of Hegins, 1 Brother, Wilmer S. Trathen of South Hampton, 4 Grandchildren, Quentin, Natalie, Renee and Allen Koppenhaver. Funeral services were held Saturday March 24th at 2:00 pm from Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View with Rev. Carl Shankweiler. Burial was made in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
