Click here to view the Video Tribute for Evelyn Evelyn L Artz, age 82, of 412 E Mountain Road, Hegins, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg. She was born on Tuesday, July 19, 1927 in Willoughby, OH, a daughter of the late Roy Schminky and the late Mabel (Jones) Schminky. She was a 1945 graduate of Willoughby High School . She was a seamstress for area garment factories. She also had operated a fabric shop in her home . She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Blair E Artz in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Beth Ann Artz and a brother Robert Schminky. She is survived by two sons, Donald A Artz and his wife, Bonnie of Hegins and Jeffrey B Artz and his wife, Roxane of Hegins; by three daughters, Kim D Sitlinger of Halifax, Patty L Ney of Harrisburg, and Julie A Bannar and her husband, Andrew of New Tripoli; ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Memorial services were held at Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins, on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. Burial will be made at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Friedens Lutheran Church, P.O.
