Esther Mae Deiter, age 76, of 914 E Main Street, Hegins, PA died Thursday, February 17th, 2005 at Good Samaritan Reg. Med. Cen., Pottsville, PA . She was born in Hegins Twp, Schuylkill County, Pa. on November 18, 1928, a daughter of the late William W and Edna E. (Wetzel) Bloch. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She retired as an egg candler and grader at Twin Valley Farmers Exchange Hegins, Pa. . She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church Hegins, PA, where she was a member of the St. John's United Methodist Women and former member of the church choir. She was also a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens and a former member of the area women's card club. Surviving are her husband Earl E Deiter. Surviving in addition to her husband are a brother Albert W Bloch, Hegins, Pa.. a niece. and a nephew. She was preceded in death by a brother Leroy M Bloch. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, Pa. at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 21st, with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing was held on Monday from 9 to 11 A.M. at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home. Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins, Pa.
