Obituary
Emily Nicole Hornberger, age 23, of Hegins, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, May 18, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born on Thursday, December 5, 1991, in Lancaster, a daughter of Gary L Hornberger and Kathy L Hoch Hornberger of Hegins.
Emily was employed at Wegman's Retail Service Center, Highridge.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Hornberger.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her maternal grandparents, Daniel and Patricia Hoch of Harrisburg; paternal grandparents, Charles and Sarah Hornberger of Ashland; her boyfriend, Matt Keefer of Port Carbon; four sisters, Becky Kostinko of Hegins, Laura Shiley of Wiconisco, Amanda Bixler of Hegins, and Ashley Hornberger of Hegins; a brother, Blake Hornberger of Hershey; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services wereheld at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, May 22, 2015, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Jesse Benack officiating.
Visitation was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
Burial was made in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
