Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Bowman, age 79, of 28 Grayson View Court, Selinsgrove, formerly of Valley View, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove. She was born on Saturday, December 28, 1929 in Los Angeles, CA, a daughter of the late Oliver Wible and the late Alice (Brown) Wible. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento Pa.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence S "Pete" Bowman in 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L Reddick of Evansville, MN, a son, John D Baker, Jr of Elkridge, MD; two step sons, David A Bowman of Strasburg, VA, and Ronald L Bowman of Wilmington, DE; two half sisters Claudia L Moore and Vivian M Morris, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and dear friends, Donald and Bernadette Schwalm of Middleburg. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 with Rev Curtis Zemencik officiating, assisted by Rev. Ray Holland.
