Elinor Elizabeth Shade, age 73, of Hegins, Pa. passed away Tuesday, October 24th, 2006 at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Pottsville, Pa. She was born in Hegins, on January 1, 1933, a daughter of the late Hero and Norma (Huntsinger) Klinger. She was a 1950 graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School. She was also a graduate of the Empire Beauty School. She retired from the former Hegins Precision, Division of Penn Reel, after being employed for 28 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, where she served as Sunday School Superintendent. She was President of Tri Valley Historical Society. She is survived by her husband Eugene Shade. Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters, Eugenie Snyder of Valley View, Eve Metz of Bushkill, Elise Stutzman of Valley View, and Emily Mattern of Hegins; a son Eric Shade of Hegins; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, at 11:00 A.M. on Monday October 30, with Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating. A viewing was held from 9 to 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial was made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Valley View. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O.
