Elda A Umholtz, age 95, of Polk Personal Care Center, Millersburg, formerly of Valley View, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Polk Personal Care Center.

She was born on Sunday, February 21, 1926, in Dornsife, a daughter of the late Herbert C Feger and the late Nora A (Kahler) Feger.

Elda was a seamstress in area garment factories and had also done housekeeping for several area residence.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View; where she served as director of the kitchen committee.

Elda enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and baking.

Her husband, Fred R Umholtz, passed away in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by a brother, Marlin Feger, a step brother, Lawrence Leitzel; and a sister, Florence Faber.

She is survived by a son, Ronald E Umholtz and his wife Linda of Dauphin; two granddaughters, Kimberly Harper and her husband Jerry of Lemoyne and Melissa Williams and her husband Jim of Harrisburg; two brothers, Boyd Feger of Dalmatia and Robert Feger of Rebuck; a sister, Ethel Karterman of Klingerstown; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Lee Diefenderfer officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
