Obituary
Edward H Kiesel Jr., age 78, of Valley View, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on Sunday, April 16, 1944, in Darby, a son of the late Edward H Kiesel, Sr and the late Florence M (Bauer) Kiesel.
He was a very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, and also served on the church council.
Ed loved fishing with his family and friends and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Carolyn Delaney.
He is survived by his wife Darlene F (Coleman) Kiesel, to whom he was married for nineteen years.
He is also survived by three step sons, Michael Schwartz, Jonathan Schwartz, and Christopher Schwartz; fifteen step grandchildren; two step great granddaughters; a twin sister, Florence O'Dowd of Elkton MD; a sister, Janet Isaac of Weeki Wachee FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Lee Diefenderfer officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church.
Burial was in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
