Edith Hannah Klinger, age 83, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Spring Glen, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at The Manor. She was born on Friday, September 10, 1926 in Spring Glen, a daughter of the late Ernest Kissinger and the late Gertie S (Wiest) Kissinger. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She retired from the former Puritan Fashions, Millersburg. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman H Klinger, who passed away in 1987; by a sister Arlene Lucas and by two brothers Elwood and Willard Kissinger. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy E Blyler and her husband, Elvin of Spring Glen and Linda M Morgan and her husband, Ivan of Lewisberry; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; a brother, Leroy Kissinger of Loyalton; and two sisters, Anna Wenrich of Spring Glen and Ruth Smeltz of Millersburg. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating, assisted by Rev. Gerald Frey. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.
