Click here to view the Video Tribute for Dotty Dotty Marvellea Knotts, age 80, of 458 S Goodspring Rd, Hegins, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at St. Catherine Medical Center, Fountain Springs. She was born on Thursday, November 1, 1928, in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Wade Bolyard and the late Eileen (Carder) Bolyard. She was a member of Church of God, Valley View. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert K Knotts in 2007; by a son Terry Knotts and a sister June Bowman. She is survived by four sons, Keith L Knotts of Tallahassee FL, Dennis C Knotts of Dayton, OH, Steven D Knotts of Hegins, and Randy J Knotts of Johnson City, TN, a daughter Carla J Thomas of Sacramento, Pa.; fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a brother, Carlos Bolyard of Oakland, MD; and three sisters, Gloria Dewitt of Oakland, MD, Ima Jean Weeks of Ormend Beach, FL, and Edith Dagorn of South Daytona, FL. Services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, Pennsylvania, on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Frey officiating.
