Dorothy L. Lytle Dietrich, 93, a resident of School Yard Square, Pine Grove, formerly of Hegins, passed away Wednesday at the Schuylkill Medical Center-East, Pottsville. She was born in Shamokin, July 24, 1918, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha Maurer Coutts. Dorothy retired as a teller from the former Wachovia Bank, Hegins after many years of service. She was an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, as well as an associate member of St. Matthews's United Church of Christ, Spring Glen. She served as church secretary for many years for both congregations. She also served with the Penn Central Conference of the United Church of Christ. Dorothy's life revolved around her family, church, and community. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Rev. Chester Lytle, Sr., in 1967 and H. William Dietrich, in 2000; by a daughter, Kay L. Ainley, a son James L. Lytle and a sister, Betty Wilson. Surviving are a daughter, Donna L. Gonzales and her husband Richard, Franklin; a son, Chester R. Lytle Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Port Saint Lucie, FL; two step-sons, Dennis Dietrich, Delaware and Dean Dietrich and his wife Elaine, Klingerstown; ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and very dear friends, Bonnie and John Hoch, Wapwallopen. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24th at 11:00 am from St. Paul's U.C.C., Sacramento with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating. A viewing was held from 9-11 am Saturday at the church. Burial was made in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to St. Paul's U.C.C., Sacramento PA or St. Matthew's "Coleman's" U.C.C., Spring Glen, PA.
