Dorothea V "Dolly" Mauser, age 83, of 3343 Rt 72, Jonestown, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was born on Wednesday, July 20, 1927, in Valley View, a daughter of the late Theodore Klinger and Hettie (Bixler) Klinger. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She was a cook for the former Grimes Poultry, Fredericksburg. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. Dolly enjoyed cooking, baking, puzzles, bird watching, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J Mauser Sr.on July 9, 2010; and by two brothers, Harold and Palmer Klinger, and three sisters, Sally Klinger, Tillie Shade, and Eleanor Lesher. She is survived by three sons Jack T Mauser and his wife Marjorie, Terry L Mauser and his wife Carla, and Clarence J Mauser and his wife Tammy all of Jonestown; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a great great grandson. Private services were held at the convenience of the family at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Rev. Krista Keisling officiating. Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
