Doris J Lighton, age 76, of 23 Warwick Circle, Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Community General Hospital, Harrisburg. She was born on Tuesday, March 26, 1935, in Lykens, and a daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy (Klough) Molusky. She was a graduate of the former Lykens High School. She retired as an Administrative Officer for Dauphin County Human Services. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Military Officers Association of Carlisle. Doris was an avid gardener and bridge player. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Molusky. She is survived by two daughters Sandra E Thomas of Chesapeake, VA, and Debra L Patterson of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren; a brother James Molusky of Chesapeake, VA; and her fiancée Col Forrest E Kissinger, Ret. USAF, of Carlisle. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating. A viewing was held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
