Dora Kathryn Bair, age 89, of 1169 W Main Street, Valley View, died Tuesday, September 20th, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was born in Valley View, Pa on July 2, 1916, a daughter of the late John H and Mary (Schwalm) Laudenslager. She was a 1934 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School and a graduate of the Reading Academy of Cosmetology. She was a self employed beautician for over 60 years. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. She was the widow of Robert L Bair. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Alice wife of Daniel Herner, Lebanon and Janet L wife of Larry Miller, Enola; one sister Jean Fronk, Valley View; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Funeral services were held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 23rd, with Rev. George Reynolds officiating assisted by Rev. Dr. Daniel Herner. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
