Donald C. Stutzman, 88, of Hegins passed away on Saturday at his home.

Born in Hegins, he was the son of the late Howard and Myrtle (Minnich) Stutzman and he graduated from the Hegins Township High School class of 1947. He was a member of the Hegins Hubley Water Authority and the Masonic Lodge #797 of Valley View. Donald served in the US Army and was stationed in Georgia.

Prior to his retirement Donald was a partner of Stutzman's Plumbing and Heating.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Grace (Clouser) Stutzman. Also surviving are a daughter
Brenda G. Powell and husband Eugene; a son Bruce A Stutzman and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Christopher B. Stutzman, Amanda M. Stutzman, Brandon E. Powell, Irvin Stutzman and Marie Stutzman; one sister-in-law, Sandra Stutzman of Hegins and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son Brian D. Stutzman, two sisters Ruth Tobias, Marian Hoffman and one brother Wayne "Capper" Stutzman.

Viewing was held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 9:30-11 AM at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 West Main St. Valley View, where the funeral servic followed at 11:00 AM. The Masonic Lodge Services were held at 10:45 AM.

Interment was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
