Dawn Marie Dunkelberger, age 76, of 1504 E Main Street, Hegins, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Schuylkill Medical Center- S. Jackson Street, Pottsville. She was born on Friday, April 1, 1932, in Hegins Twp., a daughter of the late Marlin Rickert and the late Doris (Huntzinger) Rickert. She retired from the former Hegins Mfg. Co., Hegins. She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain. Her husband, Clair R Duunkelberger, Sr., passed away in 1994. She was preceded in death by three brothers Palmer, Marlin, Jr., and Alvin Rickert. She is survived by a son, Clair R Dunkelberger, Jr. of Hegins; a daughter, Karen E Harring of Pitman; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard Rickert of North Carolina and Dennis Rickert of Lansdale. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Rev. Claude Schach officiating. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
