Obituary
David J Hentz, age 70, of Pottsville, formerly of Valley View, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Manor Care, Pottsville.
He was born on Tuesday, June 3, 1947, in Pottsville, a son of the late George W Hentz and the late Margie M Ney Hentz Schwalm.
He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
He had worked for Klinger and Stehr, Inc, Valley View.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Patricia Runkle.
He is survived by two brothers, William R Hentz and his wife Connie of Hegins, and Jeffrey B Schwalm of Lansford; and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held at Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Hegins Area Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 678, Valley View, PA 17983.
