David B Bush, age 68, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013, in Charlotte NC, after a three year battle with cancer. His mother is Hazel Holdeman of Hegins and his father was the late Boyd Bush of Taylorsville. As a child, David loved spending summers with his grandparents Estella and Clayton Holdeman, in Hegins, and often wished he could have moved to the area. He served in the US Navy. He retired from AT&T after being employed for 30 years. David loved golfing, NHRA, and fishing. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Karen; two sons Bryan and Adam, a sister Janet; a brother Dennis; several nieces and nephews; and his family from the Hegins Area Dorothy Klinger, John Klinger, and Kenny Holdeman. Graveside services were held at 1pm, on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Friedens Cemetery, Hegins, with Rev Warren Egebo officiating.
