To View The Online Memorial Please Click Here Darlette C. Acker, age 73, of 207 Morea Rd, Frackville, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Schuylkill Medical Center- E Norwegian, Pottsville. She was born on Sunday, June 18, 1939, in Hegins, a daughter of the late Jacob and Lillie (Strausser) Masser She was a graduate of Tri Valley High School and worked in the garment industry, retiring from Jo-Ann Fabric in 2001. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and also attended the Frackville First United Methodist Church. Darlette was an avid reader, enjoyed crafts and loved her animals. She was preceded in death by a sister, Annabelle Masser, and two brothers, Mark and Richard Masser. She is survived by her husband Herman C Acker, to whom she was married for 37 years. She is also survived by two daughters Khris and her husband Stephen Yuslum of Wiconisco, Tammy Radel Wenrich and her husband Lynn of Valley View; a son Tommy Reabold of Shenandoah; a step son Terry J. Acker and his wife Lorraine of Nanticok; twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a sister Mae Hess of Lykens. Memorial services were held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 3:00 PM with Pastor Sebastian Barret and Pastor Sue Ketterer officiating.
