Daisy L. Dunleavy Daisy L. Dunleavy, age 91, formerly of 231 Broad St. Valley View, PA passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Dunleavy who passed away April 3, 1967. Born Sunday, October 16, 1921 in Valley View she was the only child of the late Irvin T. and Gertrude R. (Wolfgang) Klouser. She graduated from Hegins Township High School and was employed as a sewing machine operator at the former Philmark Mfg Co., Valley View. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View where she faithfully attended. Daisy enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and in her younger years enjoyed dancing. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a hard worker and for her love of the simple things in life. Surviving are one daughter Rose Anne Miller of Merritt Island, FL one son James H. Dunleavy III of Cocoa, FL; 5 grandchildren, Sherri R. Maiorana, Kelly A. Miller Llewellyn, Kristine A. Miller, James J. Dunleavy and James H. Dunleavy IV and 9 great grandchildren Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 1:30 PM at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Valley View with Rev. Duane Bardo officiating. There will be a viewing period immediately following the funeral service and burial will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.
