Clyde R Header, Sr.'s Obituary
Clyde Ray Header, Sr. , age 81, of Naples FL, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Duke Hospice, Durham, NC.
He was born on Thursday, December 27, 1934, in Barry Twp, PA, a son of the late Roy Header and the late Mary Kehler Header.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Updegrave and her husband Rodger of Hegins, Zena R Header and her husband Gary Connor of Durham, NC; two sons, Clyde R Header, Jr of Timber Lake, NC and Wendell Header of Durham, NC; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; his companion Jane Mortiz of Durham, NC; two brothers, Virden "Pee Wee" Header of Barry Twp, Ivan Header of Sunbury; four sisters, Violet Tschopp and Ellen Steel both of Lykens, Ruth Paul of Reading, and Anna Erdman of Northumberland.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Salem Cemetery, Ashland, on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Don E Carl officiating.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
