Obituary
Clayton William "Blabber" Shade, age 90, of 44 Fearnot Road, Sacramento, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, April 30, 1927, in Fearnot, PA, a son of the late Ralph and Flora M Zigner)Shade.
He was employed as a coal miner for several area coal mines.
He was a member of Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen and was also a member of the F&AM Valley Lodge 797, Valley View.
He was preceded in death by a son William D Shade; adaughter, Drinda E Swabl two brothers, Clarence and Irvin Shade; and two sisters, Miriam Reigel and Anna Yeager.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, June I. Herb Shade.
He is also survived by son, Marlin R and his wife Sandra Shade of Sacramento; daughter, Diane J Labenski of Hegins; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial and masonic service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
