Clair Nathan Westover, age 87, of Marienville, Pa, formerly of Sacramento, Pa, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at the Kane Community Hospital, Kane, Pa. He was born in Westover, Clearfield County, Pa, on June 19, 1916, a son of the late Emory G. and Leah M Keirn Westover. He served in World War II as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He retired as a maintenance employee for the Municipality of East Windsor, Hightstown, N.J. Surviving are his wife of 62 years May B. (Beck) Westover of Marienville, Pa; a sister Bernice Simmons of Nampa, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the McDonald Funeral Home, Marienville, Pa at 1p.m. on Saturday, Nov 29, 2003, with the Rev Dennis OBrien officiating. A viewing was held from Noon to 1p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at the McDonald Funeral Home. Burial was made at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, Pa, was in charge of arrangements.
