Christine L. Morgan, 86, formerly of Valley View died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Manatawny Manor, Pottstown, Pa. Born in Valley View, May 18, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Gurney and Gurtie Klouser Bixler. She was a retired seamstress from the former Valley View Enterprises. Christine enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. She was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur Morgan in 1988, 4 sisters and 5 brothers. She is survived by her son Darryl A. Morgan and his wife Susan of Spring City, Pa. Grandchildren, Eric D. Morgan of Collegeville and Christy L. Morgan of FL. Great-Grandchildren, Brittany, Ericka and Justin Morgan. 1 brother, Palmer Bixler of Valley View and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2007 from the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Sabas officiating. Burial was in St. Andrew's cemetery.
