Charles Carl "Budd" Penn, age 66, of 14 3rd Street, Gratz, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at his home. He was born on Saturday, August 14, 1943 in Bridgeton, NJ, a son of the late Courtland Penn and the late Elizabeth (Whittaker) Penn. He was a 1961 graduate of Bridgeton High School and attended Goldie Becon College, Delaware. He retired as a shipping clerk for E I Dupont Company, Carney's Point, NJ . He was a member of the Erdman Sportsmen's Assoc., VFW Post 2385 Gratz, Elizabethville Legion and VFW, and the Gratz Fire Company. He was the president of the former Wang Brothers Organization of Bridgton, NJ. He was an avid pool player. He was preceded in death by a brother Cortland R Penn in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis K (York) Penn, to whom he was married for 19 years. He is also survived by four daughters, Terry Huntley, Janet Brown, Donna Fox, and Brooke Penn all of New Jersey; a step son, Robert Athey of New Jersey; a step daughter, Cheri DeMaio of New Jersey, eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren, a great grandson, a brother, Carlton Penn of New Jersey; a sister, Nancy David of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews.
