Cecelia Genevieve Bixler, age 88, of 548 E Norwegian Street, Pottsville, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Schuylkill Medical Center- E Norwegian, Pottsville. She was born on Friday, January 12, 1923, in Minersville, a daughter of the late Anthony Osinski and Julia Zawandek Osinski. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse until retiring in 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray T.M. Bixler in 1994 and by a sister Stella Pecovich. She is survived by a niece Stella M Chistakoff of Minersville. Private graveside services were held at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
