Cathy Ann Koons, age 57, of 1158 E Main Street, Hegins, died Sunday, April 23rd, 2006 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont. She was born in Ashland, on November 9, 1948, a daughter of the late Chester L Minnich and Betty P (Bonawitz) Minnich who survives her of Valley View. She she was member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. She was also a member of the Hegins Fire Company. She is survived by her husband James a Koons, Sr., to whom she was married for 41 years Surviving in addition to her husband and her mother are a son James A Koons, Jr., Hegins, a daughter Jamie L Koons, Beavertown, a brother William E Minnich, Valley View; and two sisters Abbie J Stiely and Lori L Minnich, both of Valley View. Memorial Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29th, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
