Blanche Irene Scheib, age 89, of Millersburg, formerly of Valley View, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007 at The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg. She was born on Sunday, August 4, 1918 in Erdman, a daughter of the late Eston Klinger and the late Verna (Klinger) Klinger. She was a seamstress for area garment factories. She was a member of Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church, Erdman. She was also member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens and the Senior Citzens Chorus. She was an avid quilt maker.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen E Scheib. She is survived by a son, Johnny A Scheib of Gratz; a daughter, Mildred M Shepley of Millersburg; a brother, Selin Klinger of Northumberland; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Services were held at Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church, Erdman, on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jan Mills officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Burial was made in Zion "Klinger's" Cemetery, Erdman. Memorial contributions can be made to Zion Lutheran Church, P.O.
