Click here to view the Video Tribute for Betty Betty Lou Shade, age 64, of 807 E Main St, Hegins, died Monday, June 12th, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Hegins Twp, on September 23, 1941, a daughter of the late Irvin T and Kathryn (Barr) Shade. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She retired as a Legal Secretary for the former Johnson and Diamond Law Firm, Camp Hill. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins. Her husband Mark L Shade died in 1969. She is survived by a son Todd M husband of Sharon Shade, Lykens; a grandson Javin T Shade, Lykens; two granddaughters Ashlyn M Shade and Shara N Lesher, both of Lykens. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son Scott L Shade in 1992. Funeral Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17th, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. Visitation was from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery Hegins. Condolences can be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com
