Betty Jane Koppenhaver, 92, of Hegins, passed away on Friday, November 16th, 2018, in the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Betty was born on March 21th, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Mamie and Charles Miller.

Betty began working at the Hershey Chocolate Factory after high school. After she and her late husband, Ira (Brownie) Koppenhaver married in 1950, they owned and operated Koppy's Sunoco Station in Hegins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brownie Koppenhaver, sisters Jenny Dunkleberger, Margaret Artz, Marie Conrad, and brothers Charlie, Ralph, Roy, Frank, Leon, and Bobbie.

Surviving Betty is her sister Arlene Kimmel and extended family of nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Friedens Lutheran Cemetery, Hegins. Memorial services will be held in Spring/Summer 2019, date and location will be announced at a later date.
