Bernice A Wetzel, age 98, formerly of Tremont, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at Providence Place, Pine Grove.

She was born on Monday, November 1, 1926, in Rough and Ready, a daughter of the late Delphin Davis and the late Helen (Ramberger) Davis.

Bernice was a 1944 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.

She was a seamstress for Summit Station Mfg..

She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Tremont.

She was also a member of theTremont Senior Citizens.

Bernice enjoyed sewing, cooking, quilting, reading, crafts, and spending time with her family..

Her husband, Lamar W Wetzel, passed away in 1998. She was also preceded in death by a son:, Richard Wetzel, and a brother, Gene Davis.

She is survived by three sons, Kevin (Donna) Wetzel of Oley, Scott (Debra) Wetzel of Pine Grove, and Brian G (Cathy) Wetzel of Pine Grove; a daughter, Dori (Alan) Golden of Howey In The Hills, FL; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Dwight (Kay) Davis of Gratz; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 am, with Rev. Benjamin Scholl officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the German Reformed Cemetery, Tremont.
