Bernice Schwalm Ossman Wilt, 91, formerly of Hegins and Millersburg, passed away Sunday at the Community General Hospital, Harrisburg. Born in Valley View, September 25, 1919, a daughter of the late Elmer and Gertie Stutzman Schwalm. Bernice was a member of the Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins. She was a pianist, gardener and artist. She enjoyed crafts and quilting. In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by two husbands, Clifford Ossman and Richard Wilt. She was also pre-deceased by a son, Robert L. Ossman. Siblings, Eva Huntzinger; Virgie Belles; Earl Schwalm and Erma Fetterman. Surviving are her son, Bruce L. Ossman and his wife Martina, West Chester; a Daughter-in-law, Sherry Ossman, MA.; a brother, Clair Schwalm, NC; three grandchildren, Todd A. Ossman, Washington DC; Shannon Mangano, MA and Chad L. Ossman, New York, NY; two great grandsons, Owen and Carter Ossman. Nieces and Nephews. Memorial services were held Saturday, July 30th at 11:00 am from the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View with Rev. Claude Schach. Burial was in the St. Andrews Cemetery, Valley View.
