Click here to view the Video Tribute for Bernice. Bernice M Deibert, age 87, of Sacramento, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. She was born on Sunday, October 5, 1924, in Bear Valley, a daughter of the late William and Matie Harner Miller. She was a seamstress for the former Amy Sportswear and the former Philmark Manufacturing. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento. She was also a retired member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Bernice enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Her husband William T Deibert, Sr, passed away in 1995. She was also preceded in death by two sons Robert A Deibert and Thomas Deibert; a daughter Sharon Deibert; and three brothers Irvin Miller, William Miller, Jr, and Robert Miller. She is survived by four sons William T Deibert, Jr and his wife Dora of Valley View, Ronald E Deibert and his wife Lisa of Etters, Dennis "Dapper" L Deibert of Reedsville, and Lynn L Deibert and his wife Rebecca of Sacramento; two daughters Donna L Strohecker of Spring Glen and Carol Shade of Phoenixville; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; a brother Charles "Peewee" E Miller of Valley View; three sisters Dora Shade of Gratz, Helen Headdings of Urban, and Janet Miller of Klingerstown; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating. A viewing was held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the church. Burial was made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.
