Beatrice Iva Troup, age 71, of 35 Post Rd, Ashland, died Tuesday, May 23rd, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Hegins Twp, on July 10, 1934, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel (Lucas) Deeter. She was a member of the Weishample Church of God. She is survived by her husband Leonard J Troup to whom she was married for 53 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons Rodney L Troup, Ashland, Daryl A Troup, Kulpmont; and Curtis A husband of Patricia Troup, Lavelle; three brothers Raymond Deeter, Hegins, Earl Deeter, Hegins, and Clarence Deeter, Ashland; three sisters Edna Klinger, Valley View, Grace Herb, Valley View, and Martha Bosco, Lavelle; 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers Mark, Clark, John, Larry, Leonard, and Lloyd Deeter; by a sister Gladys Bloch. Funeral services were held at the Weishample Church of God, Weishample, at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26th, with Rev. John Clough officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial was made in the Church of God Cemetery, Weishample. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
