B. Lorraine Harner, of Hegins, died Tuesday, May 30th, 2006 at Pottsville Hospital. She was born in Wiconisco, but raised in Gratz. She was a daughter of the late Harry and Laura (Minnich) Hepler. She was a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School. She was last employed as a Secretary at Richmond Screw and Anchor Co. Tremont before retiring. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. She was also a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Harold "Bud" W Harner, Sr in January 1991, by a son Harold "Buddy" W Harner, Jr in Dec 2001, and by a great grandson Shane Harner. She is survived by a son Terry L Harner, Spring Glen; two grandsons Clint Harner, Valley View and Troy Harner, Spring Glen; by four brothers Harry Hepler, Jr, R.D., Halifax, Glenn Hepler, Gratz, Jack Hepler, Gratz, and Kenneth Hepler, Valley View; one sister Beverly Snyder, R.D. Herndon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3rd, with Rev. George Reynolds officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial was made in the Church of God Cemetery, Valley View.
