Arlene Mae Williams, age 73, of 311 W Laurel Street, Tremont, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at her home. She was born on Thursday, November 7, 1935 in Tremont, a daughter of the late Charles F. Reedy and the late Alice A. (Miller) Reedy. She was a graduate of the former Tremont High School. She retired as a seamstres for the former Summit Station Mfg. Co. She was a member of St. Peter's U.C.C. Church, Tremont. She was also a member of the Tremont Senior Citizens. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby and was an avid world traveler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E Williams on May 18, 2009. She is survived by a son David L. Williams and his wife, Patricia of Valley View; a daughter Susan A. Filer and her husband, Jeff of Palmyra; and four grandchildren. There will be no services Burial will be made at the convenience of the family in the German Reformed Cemetery, Tremont.
