Arlene M. Herb, 82, of 258 Forest Drive, Hegins passed away Friday, March 19th at Schuylkill Medical Center-East, Pottsville. Born in Weishample, September 22, 1927 a daughter of the late Earl and Verna Kessler Kimmel. Arlene was a retired seamstress from the garment industry. She was a member of the Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins and the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens. Arlene's greatest joys were spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert, March 4, 2009 and a brother Bobby Kimmel. Surviving are a son, Barry R. Herb and his wife Cathy, Hegins; a daughter, Brenda Hall and her husband John, Hegins; a granddaughter, Stacy L. Andracchio and her husband Ryan, Hegins; two grandsons, Robert "Buster" R. Herb, Hegins and Shawn Hall, Williamstown; two great-granddaughters, Kirsten L. Wolfgang and Kira Andracchio both of Hegins. four sisters, Wilma Klinger, Weishample; Carolyn Geist, Hegins; Sandy Feese and her husband Howard, Valley View and Ellen Woodring, Port Carbon. two brothers, Harold Kimmel and his wife Mary Ann, Lancaster and Leonard Kimmel and his wife Arlene, Ashland. Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 23, at 11:00 am from the Buffington Reed Funeral Home, Valley View with Rev. Warren Egebo. Burial was made in the St. John's "Kimmel's" Cemetery, Deep Creek. Viewing was from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Memorial donations should be made to her church, P.O.
