Anthony A "Snook" Herb, age 77, of Valley View, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

He was born on Friday, April 21, 1939, in Valley View, a son of the late Albert W Herb and the late Lillian M Conrad Herb.

He was a 1957 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

He was a Machinist/Inspector for TRW, Harrisburg, prior to his retirement

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.

Snook was a long time member of the Hegins Area Ambulance Association and the Valley View Fire Company.

He was a member of the former Vagabonds, Chapperals, and the Imperials musical groups..

His wife Gladys M Snyder Herb, passed away in 2012.

He is survived by a daughter, Sheila M Klinger and her husband Brian of Klingerstown; two granddaughters, Trishia N Klinger of Klingerstown, and Alyssa M Deibert and her husband Adam of Sacramento; a great grandson, Bentley Deibert of Sacramento; a sister, Cynthia Shankweiler of Valley View; and his companion, Jean L Morris of Hegins.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Brian Beissel and Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the church.

Burial will be made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
