Anna Elizabeth Williams, age 96, formerly of 206 Gap Street, Valley View, died Friday, September 16th, 2005 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont. She was born in Red Cross, on September 29, 1908, a daughter of the late Jay and Vesta (Erdman) Zartman. She retired from the former Philmark Mfg, Co., Valley View. She was also part owner of the former Midland Theater, Valley View. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Valley View. She was a charter member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens; a member of the Mahantongo Senior Citizens, Gratz Historical Society, American Legion Post 575 Auxiliary, and the Valley View Fire Co. Auxiliary.. She was the widow of Earl E Williams who died in 1980. She is survived by a grandson Kim W. Artz, Reading, and by three grandchildren Venessa Y. Engle, Perkasie, Travis C Artz, Thailand, and Jamey E Artz, West Lawn. She was preceded in death by a daughter Helen E Artz in 2002; by a grandson Richard Artz in 1998; by three brothers Daniel, Fred , and Clarence Zartman and by two sisters Carrie Snyder and Mary Barnhardt, Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, PA. at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, Sept 21, with Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating assisted by Rev. Curtis Zemencik. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m on Wednesday at the church Burial was made in the Church of God Cemetery, Valley View. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Valley View PA 17983 or to the American Red Cross, Katrina Relief Fund.
