Anna Marie Dougherty, 85, of 764 Specktown Rd, Lykens passed away, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl "Docker" Dougherty who died in December 24, 1980. Born Saturday, July 09, 1927 in Newtown, PA she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Jen Stine She attended schools in Newtown and Branchdale and was employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Morris Wapner in Tremont. She was of the Catholic Faith, and loved going to casinos and listening to county music and Danny O'Donnell. Surviving are a daughter Karen Schwartz and her husband Glenn of Lykens; two grandsons, Timothy Schwartz and wife Tammi of New Cumberland and Christopher Schwartz and wife Kathlynn of Elizabethville; five great grandchildren, Krystal, Morgan, Alyssa, Justin and Spencer; one great great grandchild Parker; one niece Catherine Emerick and one nephew Donald Enk. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sally Tracey, Katherine Zerbe and Viola Enk A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to those devastate by the hurricane. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
