Alma Mae Green, age 97, of 483 S. Goodspring Road, Hegins, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 at Schuylkill Medical Center- E Norwegian, Pottsville. She was born on Thursday, August 31, 1911 in Schuylkill Haven, a daughter of the late Emory E. Lubold and the late Nellie (Sticher) Lubold. She retired as a seamstress for the former Hegins Mfg. Co., Hegins. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P Green, Jr. in 1982; by a son Charles R Green; a daughter Jacqueline M Rothermel; two granddaughters Dia Green and Beth Ann Green; three brothers Leon , Lester, and Elmer Lubold; a step brother Jacob Dando; and three sisters Hilda Kreiser, Kathryn Bressler, and Pauline Trumbo. She is survived by two sons, Lamar G Green of Mansfield and Scott D Green of Hegins; a brother, Philbert G Lubold of Bensalem; a sister, Charmaine Barns of Hegins; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandsons. Services were held at Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins, on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Claude Schach officiating. A viewing was held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the church. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins. Memorial contributions can be made to Friedens United Church of Christ, P.O.
