Alice Malinda Wolfgang, age 84, of Schuylkill Genesis Elder Care, Pottsville, formerly of Broad St, Valley View died Thursday, January 19th, 2006 at Schuylkill Genesis Elder Care. She was born in Hegins, on December 8, 1921, a daughter of the late Winfield and Tillie (Heckert) Stutzman. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School and the Ashland Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as a Registered Nurse at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville.. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church Hegins. Her husband William Wolfgang died in 1994. She is survived by four sons William W Wolfgang, Hegins, James R Wolfgang, Orwigsburg, Richard J Wolfgang, Pitman, and Donald C Wolfgang, Valley View; 14 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers Ivan, Lenwood, Warren, Gerald, and James Stutzman. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sat. Jan 28, 2006 from St. Johns United Methodist Church Hegins, Pa. with Rev. William Danis officiating. Memorial Contributions can be made to Memorial fund of St. Johns U.M. Church, Hegins, PA 17938. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
