Alfred Henry Bohner, age 90, of Valley View, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg. He was born on Friday, March 14, 1924, in Gratz, a son of the late Ray Bohner and Margaret Olive Hoffman Bohner Williard. He was employed at Rutherford Yards for 37 years as a breakman. He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Bohner, and two sisters, Faye Green and Karen Willard. He is survived by three sisters, Mae Mckenzie of Middletown, Merle Paul of Lykens Rd., and Sandra Phyllips of Mount Dora FL; two brothers, Herbert R. Bohner of Valley View, and Barry Williard of Lykens Rd. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Michael C. Klahr officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Union Cemetery, Gratz.
