Obituary
Albert N Morgan, age 89, of Lykens Twp, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on Wednesday, August 22, 1934, in Pitman, a son of the late Albert L Morgan and the late Martha (Rabuck) Morgan.
He was a self employed farmer.
Albert was a former Lykens Twp Supervisor, serving for thirty years. He was a member of the Minneapolis Moline Club, Gratz Area Ambulance Assoc, Gratz Fire Company, Gratz Area Antique Machinery Assoc, and VFW Post 2385 Gratz.
His wife Margaret M (Weaver) Morgan, passed away in 2012.
He is survived by a son, David D Morgan and his wife Susan of Lykens; a daughter, Kathi M Saltzman and her husband George of Klingerstown; five grandsons, Justin Morgan and his wife Bobbie of Spring Glen, Chad Morgan of Hegins, Dennis Saltzman and his wife Denise of Herndon, James Saltzman and his wife Jessica of Pitman, and Randy Saltzman and his wife Amanda of Pitman; eight great-grandchildren, Gretchen Morgan, Haizley Morgan, Diesel Ray Morgan, Sidney Nicholes, Dylan Saltzman, Randy Saltzman, Jr, Ryker Saltzman, and Delaney Saltzman.
Funeral services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Allen Echard officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial was in Zion Cemetery, Pitman.
