Albert Bloch, age 81, of 832 Chestnut Street, Hegins, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, October 9, 1929, in Hegins a son of the late William and Edna Wetzel Bloch. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins. He was employed by Unicast Foundry, Boyertown and had retired from Hegins Mining. He was preceded in death by a brother Leroy Bloch and a sister Esther Deiter. He is survived by nephew Brian L Bloch of Palmyra. Graveside services were held at St. John's Cemetery, Hegins, on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. William Danis officiating.
