Obituary
Marilyn M Updegrave, age 82, of Valley View, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born on Saturday, August 27, 1938, in Hegins Twp, a daughter of the late Homer J Klinger and the late Eva M (Lubold) Klinger.
Marilyn was a graduate of the Philadelphia School of the Deaf.
She was a seamstress for area garment factories prior to her retirement.
Marilyn enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts, cooking, and baking.
She is survived by her husband Harold R Updegrave, to whom she was married for 62 years.
She is also survived by four brothers, Bruce Klinger of Valley View, Ronald Klinger of Lincoln, Robert Klinger of Shillington, and Mark Klinger of Williamstown; a sister, Joan Stiely of Dornsife; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hegins Valley Fire Rescue, P.O. Box 146, Hegins PA 17938.
