Obituary

Harold C Wolfgang, age 81, of Spring Glen, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

He was born on Friday, October 4, 1940, in Hegins, a son of the late Clarence R Wolfgang and the late Jennie E (Geist) Wolfgang.

He was a 1958 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, he was also a graduate of Williamsport Technical School and Appalachian Bible College, Bradley WV.

Harold was an electronic technician prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Paxton Bible Church.

Harold enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Daniel R Wolfgang.

He is survived by his wife Norma J (Johns) Wolfgang, to whom he was married for 62 years.

He is also survived by three daughters, Kim Y Perron and her husband Randy of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Jane C Pinter and her husband Jon of Bucyrus, OH, and Gail A Harner and her husband Lonnie of Hegins; a son, David H Wolfgang and his wife Annette of Hegins; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Wolfgang of Sellersville, and Paul G Wolfgang of Danville; a sister, Betty M Miller of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Dan Lepley officiating.

Visitation was held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial was made in St. Andrew's United Methodist Cemetery, Sacramento.
