Eleanor E. Miller

Eleanor E Miller, age 89, of Providence Place, Pine Grove, formerly of Valley View, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Providence Place. She was born on Friday, December 9, 1932, in Hegins Township, a daughter of the late Gurney Coleman and the late Neva (Stutzman) Coleman. She was a 1950 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. Eleanor worked in area garment factories prior to her retirement. She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain. Eleanor enjoyed gardening, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; by three brothers, Charles Coleman, Robert Coleman, and Donald Coleman, and by a sister, Arlene Otto. She is survived by her husband Lewis F Miller, to whom she was married for twenty-seven years. She is also survived by two daughters, Cindy L Bloch and her husband Randy of Hegins and Debra S Conrad and her husband Bill of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a step son, Larry R Miller and his wife Patsy of Hegins; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Troutman of Herndon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Michael C Klahr officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
