Obituary

Arlayne Marie Kobel, 90, of Gratz, passed away Sunday morning, April 4, 2021 at her home.

She was born on August 17, 1930 in Lykens Twp, PA, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Elvirdia Miller Welker.

Arlayne was a seamstress for the former Dormar Mfg, Gratz.

She was a member of St. Peter's "Hoffman's" United Church of Christ, Lykens, as well as a lifetime member of the Gratz Area Fire Company No. 1, Life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #2385, Gratz, and the American Legion Auxiliary, Herndon.

Arlayne enjoyed sewing, going to camp, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E Kobel, three brothers, Elwood, Lester, and Clarence Welker; and a sister Helen Yergo.

She is survived by her son, Keith E. and wife Cynthia Kobel of Halifax; granddaughter, Lora Kobel of Halifax; grandson, Joshua Kobel of Halifax; sister, Hannah Klinger of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St. Peter's "Hoffman's" United Church of Christ, Lykens, on Saturday, April 10th at 11am, with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating.

A visitation will be held from 10A.M. until the time of service at the church.

Burial will be made in St. Peter's Cemetery, Lykens.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter's UCC, 1289 S. Crossroads Rd, Lykens PA 17048.
